Body slide
The simplest slide of all. You sit or lie down and whoosh down on the water with nothing under you.The rider slides directly on the flume surface with nothing under them. Open or enclosed, from toddler slides to 50 m speed slides. Every major maker builds them: ProSlide Twister and FreeFALL, WhiteWater AquaTube and Speed Slide, Polin, Wiegand.

Body slides can be open to the sky or closed like a tunnel. Every slide company makes them, and most water parks have lots. Little ones are gentle; the biggest are taller than a 15-storey building!
